Fantastic jacket with great design features and just oozes quality - zips, pockets, fabrics etc all first class. Huge hood and face protector are really useful. I will also be using this jacket for ski touring. I would rate this a great all round jacket even though it is essentially a really professional tough mountaineering item.
The inner soft rubber cuffs are also great, as they stop cold air entering and also keep you bone dry in wet conditions. Compared to top range jackets by other big named manufacturers this one represents a bargain.

Top end. Meets expectations even for the vast sum I shelled out for it last year. The extensive features are all effective.
Was in Glencoe last Autumn. We crossed some rocks onto a small island in the river. Pitched up. Rained non stop for 48 hours. Woke in the night with my mate at the tent door getting frantic that we would be washed away. Rocks we crossed now a raging torrent. Attrition goes on, internal gaiter cuffs strapped up. We pack up in fantastically heavy rain and cross the torrent using all fours. One lad turns to me soaking wet and says 'this is what you paid £300 for the jacket for'. I stayed dry and had a great little adventure. Drove home 4am but not before a stag crossed the road right in front of us. Unforgettable.
